The infamous question you're asked as a child: "What do you want to be when you grow up?" The answers: a rockstar, a doctor, a singer, a dancer, and an astronaut are the popular answers. But for me? I have always wanted to go grow up to be a teacher! Only a teacher-want-to-be would stay in during recess to grade papers! I have always had a strong passion for working with children. A classroom is like a home to me, you can create an endless learning environment, full of art, hands-on learning, colors, posters, etc. An for most teachers-your classroom becomes more like a second home! It's during my free time that I enjoy creating and sharing ideas I have to weave with teaching. I have always been a visual and hands-on student myself, so I enjoy creating ways to help build on student understanding through the use of their hands and eyes! This site has been a step toward sharing my ideas beyond! I hope you enjoy it and find my pieces useful to you and your classroom! :-)

Individual Student Behavior/Reward Plan
This behavior plan is for an individual student. There is a list of the daily schedule as well as options for rewards. I allowed my students to choose the activity they wanted as a reward. When they earned happy faces, they earned 5 minutes of their chosen reward. These rewards were laminated and had velcro stuck to the back so that the student could easily change rewards!

Individual Behavior Plan - (Day Broken Down Option)
This individualized behavior plan breaks the daily schedule down by sections. For each section, the student must receive a smiley face in order to earn their 5 minute reward. This reward is chosen by the student! They are laminated with velcro on the back; allowing the child to change rewards as desired. Also, the tasks completed is taped onto the student's desk as a visual. This packet includes a scheduled behavior plan, reward options, and a reward visual.

Reward Coupons for Positive Student Behavior
When your students have earned an award for their behavior in class, give them the option to choose from a book or wall of positive behavior reward coupons! Daily 5 Labels Designed for Weekly Use!
This packet contains Monday through Friday Daily 5 labels designed for 5 groups. The groups have different colored stars to identify which group will be at which station (Monday through Friday). Money in my Wallet Game (Coin-Exchange with Pennies, Nickels, and Dimes)
This is a visual I created to help students learn the concept of money exchange: 5 Pennies=1 Nickel, 2 Nickels=1 Dime. This can be treated not only as a tool but a game for students. Daily 5 Bookmarks!
These bookmarks were used in my Kindergarten class! The students loved having the responsibility of using these bookmarks to track their stations. They had two daily 5 stations--these bookmarks had a ring that held Monday through Friday--for each student. It was a great resource for my Daily 5!

Word Work Laptops!
These word work laptops are a great tool for students to write their word wall words, as well as type them, giving them even more practice with their spelling! The idea is to mount these papers onto a hard surface that can fold (just like a real laptop!) I use Iphones (which are also within my products) and these computers, and my students absolutely love them! What child doesn't love electronics these day!?

Roll And Record Game
Roll and Record is a two way game! You can add and subtract. This could be printed as a worksheet for partners, or independent work. Another idea would be to laminate and have students work on this with a dry erase marker to practice their addition and subtraction! They simply roll the dice and record the numbers. You could use one or two dice to challenge your students! It's could also be used during math stations!

Same Game (Addition) - Matching Addition Cards Game
This game includes a set of addition facts (one and two digits up to 20). The students must flip the cards over so that they are face down and then flip two cards over at a time. If the answers are equal they have a match! However, the students must use their math skills to solve the addition facts. The cards do not have the answers on them. It is a great game for students to play during math to enhance their addition skills!

This game is called Race you: Back to School! The game has a game board with two routes to school (a fast path and a long path) but WATCH OUT!
