It's time to get militant with these facts! These two files are the cover page and insert for creating your own addition battleship. Once students place their ships on their board, they can guess were their opponent's ships are by reciting addition sentences like 3 + 2 = 5. Experience
I am a DoDEA teacher of 19 years and counting. In that time, I have taught all elementary grades 1st through 5th, in 2 countries, 4 states, and 6 schools.
Teaching style
I prefer to teach in small groups with workstation rotations, allowing students productive struggle and discovery learning opportunities. I've also recently begun a flipped classroom model for mathematics.

I am a military spouse of 19 years with three children: 15 year old daughter and twin 13 year old sons. My passion in education is discovery and hands-on learning with a MASSIVE emphasis in technology integration.
