Five to Thrive - Parent Volunteering Pledge Form
As teachers, we are desperately trying to get parents in the door to be active members of their child(ren)'s education. This pledge form can be given to parents at open house, sneak-a-peek, conferences, or any other time in the year to try and entice their participation.

I am a DoDEA teacher of 19 years and counting. In that time, I have taught all elementary grades 1st through 5th, in 2 countries, 4 states, and 6 schools.
Teaching style
I prefer to teach in small groups with workstation rotations, allowing students productive struggle and discovery learning opportunities. I've also recently begun a flipped classroom model for mathematics.

I've completed up to an Ed Specialist Degree; all degrees (HS, Undergrad, Masters, and EdS) i've earned have an emphasis in technology.
Additional biographical information
I am a military spouse of 19 years with three children: 15 year old daughter and twin 13 year old sons. My passion in education is discovery and hands-on learning with a MASSIVE emphasis in technology integration.
