2 bar graphs for recording a month's worth of daily weather. One includes the numbers along the side and a title prompt, "Weather Graph for..." Students can fill in your town, the month, your zip code, etc. The second does not include the numbers or the prompt so that students can practice making a graph. Weather pics show sunny, cloudy, rainy, stormy, windy, icy and snowy. Even if you live where snow and ice do not usually occur, you can use this to talk about how where you live determine

“ Me and My Family” You are downloading an 8 page booklet that can be used to introduce the concept of home, school and neighborhood all being examples of families. (I print it 2 sided to save paper.) and how there are different rules in each of these settings. There is a box for drawing a picture and a short writing prompt on each page. It ends with a poem about everyone being different and reinforces the idea that our home, our school and our neighborhood are all part of a big family. I us

A permission form for parents to sign after granting or not granting permission for you to use their child's picture in the newspaper, on a website or on Facebook. This can be used by an administrator in a Teacher's Handbook. I can be used by individual teachers if their school does not have a standard form.

This interactive math problem solving journal is based on 1st Grade Standards, but can be used for enrichment and/or intervention for other primary grades.
