I have over 10 years of experience teaching science to middle and high school students. My focus has been on making complex concepts accessible and engaging through hands-on experiments and interactive lessons. I have developed a wide range of materials that cater to diverse learning styles and help students achieve their full potential.

Teaching style

My teaching style is centred around student engagement and interactive learning. I believe in creating a dynamic classroom environment where students feel comfortable exploring and asking questions. My lessons are designed to be hands-on and collaborative, encouraging students to think critically and solve problems creatively.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I was honoured to receive the 'Teacher of the Year' award in 2019 for my innovative approach to STEM education. One of my proudest moments was when a group of my students won first place in a national science competition, showcasing their skills and creativity.

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I am also certified in Advanced Placement Biology and have completed professional development courses in educational technology and differentiated instruction. Additionally, I possess comprehensive technical knowledge in Information Management.

Additional biographical information

In addition to teaching, I am passionate about environmental education and frequently lead outdoor learning excursions. I also volunteer at a local after-school program, helping students with science projects and homework. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and exploring nature with my family.
