Use this activity to help students practice common introductory phrases in Spanish. Have students create their own board by writing phrases in the empty boxes on the bottom half of the page. As the teacher (or have a student read the phrase for this lesson!) say the phrases in English and have students place "markers" or cross off with different colored pencils for each round. 5 in a row, or however you want to play, wins! Completely editable for any vocabulary topic!
Practice numbers in Spanish by stating the numbers of items in various pictures of classroom items by displaying or printing page 1. Page 2 can be printed or completed digitally practicing stating the numbers of items in their homes.
Follow these notes for several lessons when introducing subject pronouns, the verb ser and its conjugations as well as adjectives and countries. Have students practice each section before moving to the next.
The following document includes a link to a documentary about César Chávez and the farm workers of California as they fight for civil rights. Included questions are in English and Spanish.
Have students listen to the audio files embedded in this google slide to design various rooms of a house. They can add images by going to images, add images, search from web and repositioning or moving them based on what they hear. After students have completed this independently, I review it with the class on my smartboard and have students make any necessary edits on their own devices. Don't like my descriptions or audio files? Add your own! Completely editable.
Have students write descriptions of a classmate or display a google search of "cartoons doing activities" if you'd like to use generic images. Students can then read their descriptions to classmates who will have to listen and guess who is being described.
