This Scoot game is a fun way for students to practice finding the cause and effect in a sentence. Scoot is a game where you place one task card on each student's desk, in numerical order. Each student answers the card on their recording sheet. When the teacher says "Scoot" the students quickly move to the next desk, until they've completed all of the task cards. Have your students get into the Thanksgiving spirit by completing this addition and subtraction color activity. This was a center I did when I taught first grade and the students really enjoyed it. In this center, students will make C-V-C words, read it and determine if it's a real word or silly word. Directions, Letter Cards, and Student Activity are included.

This is a great way to get a quick assessment of what the students learned and if they have any questions that may have not been answered. Cut each ticket out, have the students write their name on the back, and fill in what they learned from your lesson.
