About the store
I have been teaching for more than fifteen years. I have taught grades first to fifth in a gifted resource setting as well third and fifth grades in the general education classroom. I have evolved and continue to evolve in my beliefs and strategies. I find it just as important to remain a student as I do to be a teacher. These two worlds coexist in my career so that I can continue to accomplish what I feel I have purposefully been driven to do. I hold a Masters in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. I am a certified teacher in Georgia. I have earned multiple endorsements on my certificate including: Reading, Gifted Education, STEM, and Coaching.

Experience

I have been teaching for more than fifteen years. I have taught grades first to fifth in a gifted resource setting as well third and fifth grades in the general education classroom. Teaching style

I keep things relevant to current data-supported successful instructional strategies. I believe the most important part of being a teacher is establishing a relationship with each student and then providing quality instruction and assessments that engage the students. I begin each week with a lesson plan to outline but not dictate what is to take place in the classroom for that week. I teach in pencil! Things can and do get edited and revised for improvements.
