About the store
I am a self-motivated, quick learner with excellent communication skills. I prioritize community engagement over individual correctness and excel at creating inclusive spaces that allow others to express themselves freely. After earning a bachelor's degree in neuroscience, I spent two and a half years working in a restaurant, advancing from kitchen staff to cashier to manager. Upon returning to Marin, I have spent the past twelve years teaching students from pre-kindergarten to college. I am preparing to apply for graduate school in the 2025-2026 academic year to pursue a doctorate in neuroscience. I aim to leverage this advanced education to reform and improve the application of education research. I hope these applications of research will identify how to support teachers and students better and equip the next generation to be sustainable and independent individuals. I am a dedicated worker and a perfectionist who has developed effective task-completion strategies despite set-shifting challenges. I am also a creative problem solver committed to addressing issues thoughtfully and effectively.
