I LOVE being involved with children's positive learning I am also a teacher (and mum) who is passionate about parents being aware of their child’s academic strengths and weaknesses and having the knowledge and resources to assist them, without the additional expense of outside help on a regular basis. This is why I started DIY Tutor. Academic skills are taught in such a different way to when parents were at school. Nowadays, parents are often unable to assist their child in learning essential skills without tears and confusion. DIY Tutor is there to bridge this gap and work with parents to help them understand the skills needed now for lifelong school success and how to help their child at home, without the ongoing cost of tutoring.
