About the store
I have been teaching for 14 years and am UK based. I started in a private international boarding school in Devon where I was a Science teacher and live in house tutor. Since then I have taught in 3 large state secondary schools. My proudest achievement was passing the Advanced Skills Teacher Status assessment in 2006. During this OfSTED inspectors rated my practice as outstanding. This allowed me to coach staff across my school and local authority. I also wrote the Teaching and Learning policy for the school.

Additional biographical information

I love snow sports and if I could check in at any destination at any time at the switch of a button I would choose to be on the top of a ski slope with either my skis or snowboard strapped to my feet! I was a Camp America Camp Counsellor at Camp Skimino near Virgina Beach whilst at University and had an amazing 3 months working with youngsters on camp followed by touring the USA - mainly on the classic Greyhound buses. I love travel and spent a month with a group of Sixth form students from a previous school touring Mexico alongside some project style work – building clay ovens and kitchens out of corrugated iron! I have a passion for what I do and run on adrenaline.
