I have found many resources on-line for counting coins but I could not find resources on counting both dollar bills and coins. So, I created my own. This resource could be used for 1st, 2nd or 3rd grade. This resource is tied to Common Core Standard 2.MD.8.

This download includes four minilessons and one quiz. Each skill sheet is influenced by Common Core standards and is used to supplement core programs. Each skill sheet includes an answer sheet. Skills include: fractions, elapsed time, area, algebra, measurement, and word problems

My students needed a visual of how to count quarters, so I created these posters to hang on our math wall. I printed each out, then lamented them together to create one poster.
