Teaching style
I homeschool my children and I enjoy hands-on learning, guided instruction through online classes, and using great books to learn different subjects, while encouraging an interest in learning beyond memorization and school time.
Awards & shining teacher moments
When I hear that children are having fun and creating art with one of my resources, I'm excited and honored to play a minimal part in their artistic journey no matter where they are at in their artistic abilities, and I hope that they will continue to explore creating art.
My own education history
I have a BA in Applied Arts and Sciences, in words that aren't so fancy, a degree in art with a painting and drawing emphasis. The majority of my current art interests and directions have been self-taught, learned, and pursued outside of the classroom. I have successfully completed 18 ECE Units (Early Childhood Education); one course specifically dedicated to Art Curriculum.
