In this activity, students are challenged to construct a restaurant menu based on items available in either the Old World, or the New World. Students will use a Columbian Exchange chart as a resource. Students will also need access to the internet and a word processing program.

This is a simple chart I use to help my students with key vocabulary words. The student must define the word in their own words, quote the sentence it is used in in the text and draw a picture to represent the word.
