This file includes a poster of a poem to help decide whether you need to regroup. The poem is commonly used, and I was not able to find an author for it. The activity involves shaking dice to create two-digit numbers, using the numbers to create subtraction problems, and sorting the subtraction problems into regrouping, no regrouping, and same-number problems. Kids (and adults) need to be able to read for their best chance at success in school and in life. For reading, math, social skills, etc., my philosophy is, find what works.
