This syllabus was made in an attempt to have my students and parents actually read it. It is designed to be more appealing and fun for them to explore. The document is in word and is editable. Where you see text, I have used a text box. Some of the fonts I've used may not show up on your computer. Just change the fonts to your liking. My classroom rules section was made and had to be a screen shot due to so many moving parts. You will need to adjust this to fit your classroom environment. Happy

Use this for weekly attendance tracking and assignment log. I hang this by my crate with hanging files that have my extra copies (1-31 for days of the month). Each week a student or myself will log who was absent and what our agenda was for the day. The absent child can then come in and see what they missed. The log stays in the binder for documentation (great for parent conferences and the occasional "I never got my absent work" excuse). I initial or highlight by their name when they retrieve

I use this form to send a heads up about grades home to parents. I use it for high and low grades. It is a great way to communicate with parents. *I make a copy to keep in my file for documentation. :)
