This is a great game to practice basic addition, subtraction or multiplication skills.
The teacher dermines the skill students will practice and gives students a range of numbers to write on 9 sticky notes. Student then take turns rolling the dice, performing the given operation and coving the numbers with game pieces. A player wins when they have "three in a row" as in traditional tic-tac-toe.
Enjoy! :)
Students use clues to find the missing digits in a given number. This is a great way to informally assess students' ability to apply number sense.
After purchasing and downloading the document, it would be great to extend this activity using different number clues.
Extension: Have students come up with clues.
