This is a great theme if you find your class needs a settling environment. I am finding that lately, my students are enjoying a calming atmosphere. This neutral barnboard theme is perfect for just that! November 2020 calendar included. You can open in google drive and insert text boxes where appropriate. At any time of the year when you find your group forgetting to be kind, brighten up your space with these awesome quotes! It goes well with a Wonder novel study as well! The font is more creative to attract older kids, but also many younger kids. cut the letters and place strategically on your door, bulletin board or wall! There is also a poster you can print out and use on it's own!

Use this resource posted around the classroom in the fall to encourage students to use these descriptive words in their writing! Included is 40 words, plus a blank sheet so you can include your own!

Use this positivity poster to encourage your students to have a positive attitude as they enter the classroom for the school day! Student will decorate these posters in a way that makes them happy. On each ray of the sun, students will write/draw things that make them happy. Print the poster on coloured stock paper or glue to a brightly coloured construction paper over the students hooks to keep their attitudes bright!

Encourage self belief within your students! Often we don't take time to allow students to praise themselves. With this activity, students can look at their positive character traits, and build up their self-esteem! Use this activity at the beginning of the year, or a time of the year where you see your students starting to struggle more and get down on themselves!
