Experience
We have 28 years combined experience in the classroom. We have taught both 4th and 5th grades including looping for several years. We are involved in numerous committee work and are teacher leaders in our school. We have experienced teaching students with all levels of learning abilities.
Teaching style
We believe in a hands-on, music centered classroom. We feel that students learn best when engaged and are fully interacting with the topic being taught. Whenever possible we incorporate art integration in our lessons. You will find our submissions to have come from years of experience based on teacher best practices.

We have both been recognized as Teachers of the Year in our district. We both belong to Kansas' Exemplary Education Network.
My own education history
We both have bachelor's degrees from Kansas colleges. We have many hours of post college credit.
