About the store

I have taught at high school level for 8 years now. I have taught a variety of science classes, however my heart is with the arts especially theatre. I have done multiple productions and have grown the theatre department at my school from a 1 class 1 student all the way up to now almost full time drama department with stagecraft, intro to drama and advanced drama classes.

Experience

Teaching style

I like to think of my self as a fun laid back teacher. I do have certain things that are strict and help the class run smoothly. I believe that learning should be fun, even in high school, and student truly enjoy being in both of my classes.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I have won numerous awards through our local theatre company. I currently have 1 student who is a state thespian officer. I have also had the joy of helping high volumes of biology students pass the state exam.

My own education history

I have gone to Pacific Lutheran University for both graduates and undergraduate degrees. I love learning and planning on doing even more learning.

Additional biographical information

I always love trying new things. I have a wonderful family of 2 little boys and a wonderful husband. I love to make lessons and activities and why not share that with others!
