I taught English and history for nearly 30 years, primarily at the high school level. Students ranged from second language learners, TAG, and also college students. I am now retired.

Teaching style

My teaching style is fairly structured. However, I believe in multiple intelligences. So I incorporate music, art, and tactile activities into lessons to reach all learners. In addition, I use pop culture examples and references to connect with students.

My own education history

Undergraduate double majors in English and history. Master's degree in Education with an emphasis on ESL education.
