This document will help get students involved hands-on with how the United States got involved in World War I! The worksheet portion helps students sort events chronologically, and then, they will use the prompts to create a poster! All directions are included on the sheet. Should take 1-2 class periods depending on how in depth students go with the poster, and what materials they will have available.

It provides a list of foods that originated in the "new world," as well as those that originated in the "old world." The activity was made so that students can understand the blending of cultural aspects. There is also an easy to follow graphic included.
