Big 7 is a division strategy to help students with long division. The Big 7 strategy uses place value skills to divide multidigit numbers. Included in this activity is a review of basic division, division vocabulary, a step-by-step explanation of how to use the Big 7, practice problems, and a check for understanding. This activity is great for independent learning and for guided practice or review.

This football themed activity is a fun and interactive way to engage students in learning and practicing multiplicative comparisons. For this task, students work to model, solve, and show their understanding by solving 7 word problems. Each slides directs students to show the correct answers by interacting with the movable pieces.
