All students should know the Presidents of the United States. This is a fun project to introduce students to the presidents. I have had 100% success with this project! Students will learn information about geography, government, U.S. history, and law in the United States. This project may be used in social science classes from 6th through 12 grade.

This is a project to help students explore African American history through the decades. It is a fun and creative assignment that will help students analyze the politics of American history. My students have enjoyed finding little known facts about the decades. I hope you enjoy exploring with the students and learning facts about the African American experience.

Every classroom needs designated areas. These cute Smileys will inspire your students to turn in their classwork, pick up homework, look at the lastest news, and motivate to turn in awesome work. Use this quiz during your study of the American Civil War. Students will deepen their knowledge of the Civil War years as well as Black History. This is a thought-provoking exercise that is short and to the point. My students enjoyed the exercise and improved Civil War understanding.

Smiley says to Write It Down! Students will be motivated to take notes during class because paper never forgets. Looking at the Smiley will be a mood changer in your classroom. I have always encouraged my students to take notes and look over them at home. A look at a cute smiling face may do the trick. This cute Smiley may be used as a poster, notebook separator, or stapled to a wooden stick for a sign. Enjoy!
