I believe students learn best in a safe, supportive, and loving environment. In interviews, I was often asked about my teaching style, and my answer was always the same: “Adaptive.” Teaching isn't one-size-fits-all. Each class—and each student—is unique, and my approach evolved to meet their specific needs.
Over the years, I’ve taught classes that thrived on small-group, hands-on activities, others that excelled with independent work, and some that responded best to discovery-based learning. A combination of these methods was often needed to engage every learner.
The first and most important step was always getting to know my students—their learning styles, strengths, and gaps in knowledge. From there, I developed individualized strategies to help each student grow, adjusting the plan to ensure continued progress and success.
