Celebrate Halloween while teaching students about tables and graphs. Students will work through four stations: Tables, Line Graphs, Bar Graphs, and Pie Graphs. Each station will review the concept, have students analyze a table or graph to conclude the data, and then create their table or graph based on the data provided. The material is provided as PowerPoint slides with a PDF student handout and an optional Canva Template link to enable editing. The teacher copy includes the answers.
This introductory lesson on analyzing graphs walks students through the analysis process step-by-step using a simple bar graph. A handout summarizes the steps and checks for understanding. The vocabulary of graphs is reinforced using engaging activities such as a Word Search, Word Scramble, Matching, and Crossword. Thirty BINGO cards based on the vocabulary are also included.
