Experience

The team at DRGNFLAI brings together deep expertise in structured literacy, dyslexia intervention, instructional design, and artificial intelligence. Teaching style

We design resources that are easy to implement, research-aligned, and immediately useful — no complicated prep, no guesswork. Everything we create is grounded in the Science of Reading and structured literacy, with clear teacher instructions and flexible activity options. You'll also notice that many of our materials have a cleaner, less colorful look than similar products — and that's completely intentional. Our resources are designed with older students and intervention settings in mind, where professional-looking materials help maintain student dignity and engagement. For younger learners, we offer separate versions of select activities with more colorful, grade-appropriate graphics. When you see two versions of the same resource, that's by design — same strong content, different presentation for different learners.

Awards & shining teacher moments

The DRGNFLAI team holds active certifications as a Certified Orton-Gillingham Dyslexia Specialist (IMSLEC), Certified Instructor of Teaching (IMSLEC), and Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist through the International Dyslexia Association, alongside a master's degree in instructional design and dual AI certifications from MIT. Our work has been presented at more than 20 state and national conferences, including the National Council for Exceptional Children, the National ESEA Conference, and the Learning Disabilities Association of America. One of our favorite pieces of feedback: “Thank you for the best PD ever” — because that's exactly what we're here for.

My own education history

The DRGNFLAI team brings together graduate-level training in Orton-Gillingham structured literacy, a master's degree in instructional design, and AI certification coursework from MIT — alongside decades of hands-on classroom and coaching experience. We believe the best resources come from people who never stopped learning, and that philosophy shows up in everything we make.

Additional biographical information

DRGNFLAI was built on a shared belief that teachers deserve materials that are practical, research-based, and designed for the students who need them most. Our resources are created by a Certified Dyslexia Specialist and Instructor of the Science of Reading and designed with AI — a combination that brings both instructional rigor and thoughtful presentation to every product. You won't find a lot of clip art here. What you will find are clean, professional materials built for intervention, small group instruction, and the older students who are often hardest to serve. We're based in Michigan, we work with educators across the country, and we're just getting started.
