This activity includes a long ' a' digraph ( ay, a_e, ai) word sort (using words students discover while reading a book of their choice), an interactive word sort, and an opportunity for using the newly discovered words in context. The activities can be included in a Google Classroom, using the 'make a copy for each student' option, can be used as an independent center in the classroom, or can be shared as an activity for remote / distance learning.
