Experience

I am a 12th year teacher. My first year I taught a 2nd/3rd grade combo Montessori class. Then I taught 1st grade for 2 years. I am now teaching 1st grade and LOVE it!

Teaching style

I love to teach in creative and different ways! Hands on is one of my favorite teaching methods because the students get so much out of it! I am always looking for new and interesting ways to teach something!

My first year teaching I received the Outstanding Teacher Award! I also graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University!

My own education history

I graduated from Arizona State University with my Bachelors in Elementary Education in 2011. I also graduated from Scottsdale Community College in 2009 with my Associates Degree in Elementary Education.

I love to teach and to create different items to use in my classroom! I absolutely LOVE seeing when a child's light bulb goes off when they understand what is being taught!
