Teaching style

Incorporating different modalities and tools in order to individualize learning, and maximize each child's potential. Striving to help each child not only meet, but exceed academic standards. What is a misunderstood learner? You may already have some ideas of your own, and even some students that come to mind. Picture a student who seems to be one way, but is actually another. Many times our students with special circumstances will behave poorly in class, or disengage from the material altogether. This student may be new to our language, have a diagnosed learning condition, or even have difficult experiences at home. Our goal is to foster literacy and provide understanding for these misunderstood learners.
