These are fraction strips that students can color and cut to compare fractions with a visual representation. Fraction strips are drawn and cut with denominators ranging from 2-10 (page 1). I have included 4 templates (page 2) where students can place two fraction strips at a time and compare their sizes, there is also a work page (page 3) which provides examples for students to try on their own and this work page contains blank fractions (last column) that the instructor can fill and distribute
This is a Place Value Strip that can be printed, laminated, placed in a page protector, to make a board or simply taped into a notebook or folder. It is an excellent resource for students in all grade levels to be able to see the Place Values for each digit within a number and to see how the place value changes the number overall. Each strip can be folded or cut to help create a Gradual Release Resource, where teachers can eliminate each strip based on student’s understanding of the concepts.
