Spelling Activities for Beginning Readers and Writers: These 15 spelling lessons have been developed for students who are at the beginning stages of reading and writing development. The goal of the spelling program is twofold: 1) to increase the number of words the students can spell, and 2) to compliment the work that they are doing in the area of reading.
