I am a retired elementary teacher with over 20 years of experience in the education system. Throughout my career, I worked with a wide range of learners, creating engaging lesson plans and designing high-quality learning materials that support student success. My classroom experience has given me a deep understanding of how to make resources practical, effective, and enjoyable for both teachers and students.

My teaching style is creative, student-centered, and hands-on. I believe children learn best when they are actively engaged and having fun, so I design lessons that encourage curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking. I enjoy using visuals, games, and interactive activities to make learning meaningful and accessible for all students. My goal has always been to create a warm, supportive environment where every child feels confident and excited to learn.

Throughout my teaching career, I have been honored to receive several awards that reflect my dedication and passion for education. I was proud to earn the Teacher’s Award from the Teaching Council and the Long Service Award from the Ministry of Education in recognition of my years of commitment to student learning. I was also named Most Creative Teacher at my elementary school for my innovative approach to lesson planning and classroom activities. These recognitions remind me of the joy of teaching and continue to inspire the resources I create for other educators.

I am a licensed and well-educated teacher with a strong background in elementary education. My training has provided me with the knowledge and skills to design effective, engaging, and age-appropriate learning materials. Over the years, I have continued to build on my education through professional development and classroom experience, always striving to bring the best teaching practices to my students and now to my resources on Teachers Pay Teachers.

After many wonderful years in the classroom, I wanted to continue supporting teachers and students in a new way. Creating Early Bird Tools allows me to share the lessons, activities, and ideas that made learning come alive for my students. My goal is to help teachers save time while giving children meaningful, enjoyable learning experiences. Through this store, I hope to pass on my passion for teaching and provide practical, creative resources that make a difference in classrooms everywhere.
