About the store
Not in the classroom currently (#milspouse) but thriving resourcing those who are! That classroom might be your home! I'm hoping to reach teachers and homeschooling parents, especially those just starting out. Most of my teaching years were in preschool settings. ______________________________________________________________________ DEGREE: in 2015, I graduated Mary Lou Fulton Teachers college from ASU, with a BA in Early Childhood Education/special Ed. (Birth to age 8/grade 3). In various capacities, I've cared for or taught children ages 1-5 in recent years. ______________________________________________________________________ WORK: Most currently I am building this store on TpT. Being a homemaker is my favorite job! For a short time I taught English to children online via VIPKid and branched out to teach various ELA courses on Outschool. ___________________________________________________________________________ I even dabbled in learning ABA techniques, though I'm not an active Behavior Tech / RBT.

Experience

Teaching style

I am a list-maker, question-asker, and choice-giver. I am experimental in engaging students in hands-on ways, especially if music is involved. _________________________________________________________________________ I like when students can stand in class and talk in line. I like when students can put down pencils while learning, and instead can sing or move. I focus on giving students choice and am practicing a lot of differentiation styles for all learning levels. _________________________________________________________________________ The toughest experience in differentiating was having a class of 30+ 2nd graders, from a few students who could not read the whole alphabet to students reading at 3rd and 4th grade levels. Having to accommodate that was not only necessary, but was a challenge, and it was as successful as it could have been.

My own education history
