Experience

I have been a professional Mathematics tutor since 2019. My journey began at a tutoring firm, where I received exceptional feedback from parents, leading me to establish my own private practice. Over the years, I have specialized in working with students from Grades 1 to 10, helping them navigate everything from basic arithmetic to preparing for national achievement tests (PUPP). I have a proven track record of finding ways to connect with "difficult" learners and making complex topics accessible.

Teaching style

I believe in a creative, step-by-step approach to Math. My resources are known for their "color-coded logic"—I use specific colors to help students visualize where different expressions belong in an equation. I focus on real-life applications to answer the age-old question: "Why do I need to learn this?" Every student is different, so I create adaptable materials that can be tailored to individual learning styles.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My greatest reward is the trust of my students and their parents. Transitioning to independent tutoring based on high parent satisfaction ratings was a pivotal moment in my career. I also take pride in my commitment to continuous learning—I actively study new curriculum updates and textbooks to ensure my students always have the most relevant and up-to-date strategies for success.

My own education history

I am a lifelong learner with a deep focus on Mathematics and Pedagogy. Beyond my formal background, I spend significant time researching modern teaching methodologies and the latest national curriculum changes to stay ahead of the curve.

Additional biographical information

I am a dedicated tutor who stays reachable for my students. I view Mathematics not as a static subject, but as a creative tool for problem-solving. When I'm not tutoring, you can find me designing custom learning paths and colorful visuals to make the next student’s "Aha!" moment happen sooner.
