Once the answers are found, the student can find a corresponding letter to determine the famous quote by Harriet Tubman. This resource can be used to begin a history discussion about the Civil War and slavery through the inspiring quote by Harriet Tubman.

Easy Addition with Marie Curie
This is a worksheet of double-digit addition problems where the student takes the answer to a problem, finds the corresponding letter from the alphabet table, and writes the letter down to discover a famous quote by Marie Curie. This worksheet can be used in conjunction with a history lesson of the period or a science lesson that coincides with Marie Curie's experiments. An additional benefit is portraying a famous female scientist and her quote to inspire girls to pursue STEM.

Teaching style
My style depends upon the mode in which the student is taking the subject, the maturity of the student, and the learning style of the student. When designing curriculum, I aim to write so everyone around the grade level can understand the topic. I like to use illustrations and examples to show how a topic is applicable in real life. I also like to get the student to demonstrate the knowledge in a real-life situation. If a student cannot apply the topic to a real-life situation, the knowledge is worthless.
