I created this process to help my students accurately break down and solve math story problems. This step-by-step four square process of problem solving guides students through the process of critically thinking through each problem. This method has proven very successful in my classrooms with students performing at all levels.

This template is a great way for students to record information they find while researching library books. This chart gives students a side by side comparison of the books based on several different factors they discover in their research. Great classroom center activity and/or media center activity.
