Get your students excited about using math and science to help the world! This STEM project addresses global hunger through math and science by working to develop enhanced growing methods for wheat. This provides authentic opportunities for hands-on experience with creating a rectangular prism using a net, finding surface areas and drawing to scale, all while addressing a real world problem.

This template is a great way for students to record information they find while researching library books. This chart gives students a side by side comparison of the books based on several different factors they discover in their research. Great classroom center activity and/or media center activity. Grades 2-5
