I have more than a decade of experience working with patients and providing direct consultation & services to organizations. I specialize as a Bilingual Educational and Clinical Communication Specialist with an emphasis in advocacy for culturally and linguistically diverse populations. As a healthcare and educational services expert with an M. Ed in Special Education from The University of Texas- Rio Grande Valley and a M.S in Speech Language Pathology from University of St. Augustine for Allied Health Professionals, my professional focus is on language communication development, professional communications, and educational leadership and coaching.

I have more than a decade of experience working with patients and providing direct consultation & services to organizations. I specialize as a Bilingual Educational and Clinical Communication Specialist with an emphasis in advocacy for culturally and linguistically diverse populations. Teaching style
Echo & Bloom creates ready-to-use resources for speech-language pathologists working in school-based and early childhood settings. With a background as a practicing clinician and extensive experience consulting with schools and charter networks, I understand the real-world demands of service delivery, documentation, and compliance. I’ve led clinical teams, supported MTSS and special education systems, and partnered with agencies to improve student access to services. The materials shared here are designed to be practical, flexible, and grounded in best practice—so SLPs can spend less time creating and more time supporting students.

*On a personal note*
I grew up in McAllen, Texas, and I’m a proud granddaughter of immigrants, a background that deeply informs my values, work ethic, and commitment to accessible, culturally responsive care. I am Latina and grew up bilingual, speaking English & Spanish. Outside of work, you can usually find me working on a sewing project, practicing yoga, spending time with my two cats, or enjoying New Orleans life with my husband and our two sons. Echo & Bloom was created as a reflection of both my professional experience and my personal heart—supporting children’s communication while helping them grow with confidence and care.
