Included in this unit are a KWL chart (to be used with any book or article), a sequencing graphic organizer to be used with the book "From Cocoa Bean to Chocolate," an answer key for the sequencing graphic organizer, an article about the different types of chocolate, an article about whether chocolate milk is good or bad for you, and a writing page to explain whether chocolate milk should be served at schools.

This activity is geared towards grades K-1 and is a math around the room activity. Students will compare numbers in visual and numerical form using a variety of representations. Print the questions, cut them along the solid line, and tape/place them around the room. Students then look for the questions and solve them on the recording sheet provided.
