About the store
Hey there! I'm Alicia, the homeschooling parent behind Eclectically Explore. I have been homeschooling my 2e (Twice-Exceptional) children since 2016. In the early years, I would spent *countless* hours searching for materials there were adaptable to their strengths and weaknesses, but also engaging to what they wanted to learn and how they'd learn. Instead I'd find limited options that required the skills they didn't have at the time, or the price point wasn't reachable for how fast they'd learn and ask "what's next?" I originally started creating my own printables and hands-on materials for my insatiable learners that met their need of child choice, beautiful design, depth of material, and inclusive to their abilities. I'd create the best I could for what they'd need, and move on. However, recently it's dawned on me that many other families are in the exact same position-- needing high quality materials with depth, adaptable for their unique learner, while also affordable. Here you will find thoughtfully created Hands-On, Project Based, or Montessori-inspired resources, printables, and tools that are gentle on the budget but rich in possibilities. Each item is created with both accessibility and beauty in mind-- because every child deserves to find the joy in learning. Whether you're homeschooling, supplementing school, identifying and filling in gaps, or simply looking to support your child(ren)'s curiosity I hope these materials are as helpful as they've been in our homeschooling journey.

Montessori Large Number Cards

Thank you for your interest in my printables! You can use these large number cards in many math lessons to allow a child explore place value with concrete materials. The cards stack on top of one another when building a number. This allows the child to see in the number 924 that they have 900 + 20 + 4 They are also used in all four operations with golden beads or base ten blocks. Print on paper or card stock. Montessori Number and Counters

Use these loose cards with exactly 55 loose counters for control of error. If using real counters, they should be all the same size, shape and color (ideally red), to present the Montessori red cards & counters lesson. This task is for the child to match the loose numeral to the loose quantities to ten. The second lesson would be to learn odd and even. Teaching style

I prefer to mix and match to find what best fits the child while meeting their learning goals. Often we fall to Montessori as our spine, while mixing in Charlotte Mason and Waldorf. I joke that we Eclectically Explore our world.
