Teaching style

My teaching philosophy centers on making science accessible, engaging, and relevant to students' lives. Whether through hands-on experiments, real-world applications, or interdisciplinary projects, AVID, and Interactive notebooks. I strive to spark students’ natural curiosity and help them see themselves as capable scientists and problem-solvers. I am especially committed to closing opportunity gaps and ensuring that every student—regardless of their background—has the support, encouragement, and resources needed to succeed.

Additional biographical information

I am a mother to an amazing little girl who loves to learn. As a teacher, I strive to be more inclusive to those who have ADHD and autism since I struggled in school with ADHD. I want to make learning a fun and engaging experience while making my classroom a safe space for learners. I am a lover of all animals and spend my afternoons with my own little zoo.
