Experience

With over nine years of experience in science education, I am a dedicated and passionate teacher committed to fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning in every student. I have had the privilege of teaching a diverse population of students, from low- to high-income backgrounds, and believe strongly in creating an inclusive classroom where all learners feel valued and empowered.

Teaching style

My teaching philosophy centers on making science accessible, engaging, and relevant to students' lives. Whether through hands-on experiments, real-world applications, or interdisciplinary projects, AVID, and Interactive notebooks. I strive to spark students’ natural curiosity and help them see themselves as capable scientists and problem-solvers. I am especially committed to closing opportunity gaps and ensuring that every student—regardless of their background—has the support, encouragement, and resources needed to succeed.

My own education history

I have taught: Biology, Earth Science, Physical Science, Ecology
