This is a modified number of the day sheet. I use this daily to help my lower ability EC students gain necessary math skills based on the earlier days in the year. It is also enlarged for my low vision students. I also print it on colored paper.
I created this program through EXCEL to help my students recognize and correctly show 1:1 Correspondence to numbers to ten. Directions are self explanatory
SmartBoard Activity created for extra practice with addition and subtraction single digit word problems.. Easy picture cues are easily duplicated to help with showing addition and subtraction on each slide.. I created this for my first grade students, however, can be used in Kindergarten at the end of the year or in Second grade as a review as needed.. Great visual tool..

Teaching style
I have an open form of communication in my classroom. I feel like when my students trust me, they can open up to me and in turn will want to be motivated and willing to try new things to be successful. Being in an EC classroom, I am constantly searching the internet for new innovative ways to teach to all learning styles and learning modalities. I want to teach to their needs but also incorporate neccessary curriculum required for North Carolina.
