This fact family game is an interactive fun way to practice addition and subtraction fact fluency within ten as a small group or center activity. There are colored sheets available as well as black and white that can be printed on colored paper to keep the pieces of the game organized. The object of the game is to be the first player to fill up one of the three fact families on the game board. I don't recommend playing with more than four players because of the amount of facts that will be laid

This counting sort activity helps little learners develop a deeper understanding of one-to-one correspondence and recognizing numerals by name. It is a perfect center activity and works great for small group and intervention meetings. In this activity, number cards 1-10 are placed on a table and the student works to count the objects on each card and places the card under the correct number of objects he/she counted. There are three different task cards with objects for each number represented.
