This inventions activity goes along with the Documentary 101 Gadgets that Changed the World produced by the history channel. You can buy it at www.historychannel.org or through amazon. It is very quick and funny, but best of all very highly engaging for kids and sparks excellent conversation so they understand life before the gadget that was invented. I use this to check off the INVENTIONS guidelines I have and then follow it up with the inventions essay the kids have to write. I highly sug

Teaching style
I am a teacher who will give kids the road map, but they have to do the learning. I am big on group projects, individual projects, peer teaching, active learning, and 21st century learning is one of my specialties.

I love to create. I've taught for a long time, and I am still revamping things to make them more fun, and more interesting to the kids. I am very excited to be apart of this website, as we all know that teachers are HIGHLY underpaid for their time in the industry...
All of my docs are in pdf format because I am a freak about great fonts. If you buy my product, but need it edited, please email me and I will email you the word doc (but it will come out with gerbally fonts that can easily be fixed).
