Hello! I have close to 7 years of teaching experience. I mainly teach students with autism (moderate to severe) ages 7 to 12 years old in a Special Needs School in Singapore. I make sure that my lessons are engaging and exciting for students in order to minimize behavioral issues. My students can be challenging at times, but they only need a little understanding and compassion. They all thrive on positive feedback and reinforcement! Teaching is a passion and calling from God for me.

Teaching style

I am an excited, fun, and vibrant teacher who is committed to providing optimal learning experiences with the goal of discovering students’ inner strengths. I aim to give students equal quality educational opportunities I had throughout my learning journey. I wish to create a stimulating learning environment that encourages expression and fosters individual confidence.

My own education history

Had a Degree in Sports Science from Deakin University, and was working in the sports science industry for 5 years. While I am in my highest position as a manager in the corporate world, God decided to call me to Special Education. Decided to leave my job, pursue a Diploma in Special Education in Singapore, and start teaching in a Special Needs School since 2018. Currently taking Master of Learning Intervention in The University of Melbourne, as part of my professional development, in order to provide better learning education support for my future students.

Additional biographical information
