About the store

I am a National Board Certified Teacher. I taught Middle School Math for 16 years. In 2004, I re-invented myself and became a Technology Resource Coordinator. I held this title for 14 years. In 1996, I co-founded Transitions Middle School which was funded through the Small Schools initiatives.

Students hear that they need to reach their potential. The statement is too vague for many students so this lesson guides them to brainstorm actions that allows them to be the best student they can be. This lesson can be used throughout the year at the beginng of each semester.

A fun, engaging activity that guides students to correctly navigate an Excel spreadsheet. As students learn navigation using columns and rows, they create a Gingerbread House. Also included is an easy to follow scripted lesson for educators.

I certified to become a National Board Certified Teacher in 2001 and Renewed in 2011. I am a recipient of the Best Buy Teach Award and the Oppenheimer Grant.

My own education history

I received my B.A. from Michigan State University. In 2000, I received my M.A in Curriculum and Instruction from Olivet Nazarene University. In 2009, I acquired a second Masters in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education.
