A great way for students or staff to learn how to navigate Google Drive for the first time is through pair-share or group scavenger hunts. This is a complete lesson done in Understanding by Design format with all resources, templates and helpful videos included.

Students in this lesson PK-1 will be able to correctly identify and classify shapes and connect them to shapes in our world. Slides 3 and 4 can be changed by click the square activity button on the button left of the screen and choose EDIT or Update choices for more advanced or different shapes depending on grade level. You will need to the Mimio Studio Notebook software to use this file.

Most family tree programs online do not incorporate the different dynamics of our modern families. The template is in this lesson incorporates those dynamics using Google draw to bring discussions and learning about family and using the online collaborative tool Google Draw. A full lesson with differentation and collaboration ideas is included with the needed templates so students can create their own copy.
