This Word doc will allow you to get to know your students at the beginning of the year. It also has a question for the student to ask the teacher something too. I put a sailboat icon on it to go with my nautical-themed classroom, then asked the kids (I have 3rd grade) to color the page, decorate it, draw a picture, etc.
